In addition, this contraceptive also causes some changes in cervical mucus and endometrium, making it difficult for sperm to pass through and reducing the ability of the fertilized egg to implant in the uterus.
This oral contraceptive can be purchased from conventional pharmacies with a prescription in the form of boxes containing 21 or 28 tablets.

- When injecting contraceptive use : take the first tablet on the day it would be the next injection and use another contraceptive method for 7 days;
- After abortion in the first trimester : take immediately, without pausing or using another method of contraception;
- After miscarriage in the 2nd trimester : take a 28-day break before commencing use of the Thames and using another contraceptive method during the first 7 days of pill use.
In the postpartum period, it is advisable to start using the Thames 30 after 28 days in women who are not breastfed and it is recommended to use another method of contraception during the first 7 days of the pill.
What to do if you forget to take
The action of thiazide 30 may be decreased when one tablet is forgotten. To reduce this risk, the following guidelines should be followed:
- Forgetfulness up to 12 hours : take the forgotten tablet as soon as possible;
- Forgetfulness for more than 12 hours : take the tablet as soon as you remember, even if it is necessary to take two tablets on the same day. It is also recommended to use another method of contraception for 7 days.
Although forgetfulness for less than 12 hours usually does not affect the protection of threesis 30, it is important to remember that more than 1 forgetfulness per cycle may increase the risk of pregnancy.
