Diprogenta is an anti-inflammatory and antibiotic cream or ointment which has as active ingredient betamethasone dipropionate and gentamicin sulfate which can be used to treat skin infections caused by fungi or bacteria, including diseases such as psoriasis, white cloth and dermatitis .
This product has local anti-inflammatory effects and relieves itching caused by these diseases and its effect is long lasting, providing great effectiveness even if used only twice daily. The price of the Diprogenta cream or ointment varies between 25 and 35 reais.
What is it for
The Diprogenta is indicated for the relief of inflammatory manifestations of complicated corticosteroid-sensitive dermatoses due to secondary infections caused by bacteria susceptible to gentamicin or when such infections are suspected.
These dermatoses include psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, circumscribed neurodermatitis, lichen planus, intertrigo erythematosus, deshidrosis, seborrheic dermatitis, exfoliative dermatitis, sun dermatitis, stasis dermatitis and anogenital itching.
How to use
The ointment or cream should be applied thinly over the affected area so that the lesion is completely covered with the medicine.
This procedure should be repeated twice daily in the morning and at night because a 12-hour interval is required, but depending on the severity of the lesion, symptomatic improvement may occur with less frequent applications. In any case, the frequency of application and the duration of treatment should be established by the physician.
Who should not use
The Diprogenta should not be used by people with an allergy to any of the ingredients present in the formula nor to people who have tuberculosis of skin or skin infections caused by viruses or fungi.
In addition, this product is also not indicated for use in the eyes nor in children under 2 years of age. It is also not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless recommended by a doctor.
