Maxalt

Maxalt is a medicine with active substance Rizatriptan.

This oral medication is indicated for the treatment of migraines, its action promotes the relaxation of the cerebral blood vessels reducing the characteristic pains of the disease.

Maxalt should only be used if the patient was actually diagnosed with migraine, any possibility of neurological damage or other illness should be ruled out. Even if the symptoms are the same as for the exhausted, consult a doctor before taking any medicine.

How to use Maxalt

Oral use

Adults

• Administer 5 to 10 mg Maxalt in a single dose. If symptoms do not subside, additional doses may be given at intervals of at least 2 hours.
