Gilbardeira

Gilbardeira is a medicinal plant, popularly used for hemorrhoids, to treat varicose veins, to tone and reduce swelling of blood vessels and to improve blood circulation.

Usually, Gilbardeira grows spontaneously on the sunny slopes of Mediterranean countries, such as Portugal, for example, and is a prickly shrub with small scaly stem and leaves, and round and red fruits resembling small cherries.
