The Horsetail is a medicinal plant, also known as Horsetail, Horsetail or Cola-de-caballo, much used as a home remedy to stop bleeding and heavy menses, for example.
Its scientific name is Equisetum arvense and can be bought in natural products stores and some manipulation pharmacies.

How to use Horsetail
The used part of the Horsetail is its dry stem for making tea, baths and poultices, for example.
- Kidney tea for kidney problems: Put 1 tablespoon of Horsetail in 1 cup of water and let stand for 5 minutes. Then strain and drink up to 3 cups a day;
- Bath for rheumatism: Place 3 handfuls of dried stalks in bath water and remain swollen in water for 5 to 10 minutes. Then wash the skin normally.
