Naramig for Migraines

Naramig is a medication prescribed to treat migraine, with or without aura.

This medicine has in its composition naratriptan hydrochloride, a compound that treats migraine by contracting the blood vessels of the head and reducing the arrival of blood to the nerves. It is believed that migraine is caused by painful inflammation and dilation of the blood vessels of the head.

How to take

Generally, the recommended adult dose is 1 tablet of 2.5 mg and it is not recommended to take more than 2 tablets daily.

The tablets should be swallowed whole, together with a glass of water, without breaking or chewing.

Side effects

Some of the side effects of this remedy may include tingling and numbness in the skin, nausea, vomiting, pain, feeling hot and drowsy.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated for patients with a history of heart, liver or kidney problems, patients with high blood pressure or a history of stroke, and for patients allergic to naratriptan or any other component of the formula.
