In a constipation case what one recommends to do is take a brisk walk of at least 30 minutes and drink at least 600 ml of water while walking. The water upon reaching the intestine will soften the stool and the effort made on the walk will stimulate bowel emptying. However, for the individual to have fewer episodes of constipation it is recommended to make a change in their diet, removing foods with few fibers such as white bread, cookies, sweets and soft drinks, giving preference to natural foods such as fruit in shell or bagasse and cooked vegetables and leafy vegetables
