Cepacol is an oral antiseptic that has as active substance Cetylpyridinium. This oral solution is indicated to complement the oral hygiene as it eliminates the bacteria and germs of the mouth reducing inflammations, sore throats, also preventing bad breath.
However, this should not be the only way to ensure the cleanliness of the mouth, tongue and teeth and therefore does not replace the daily brushing of teeth.
Indications of Cepacol
To treat throat inflammation; inflammation of the gums; bad breath and plaque prevention.
How to use Cepacol
Cepacol should be used daily after proper brushing of the teeth, as follows:
- Above 12 years: Rinse the mouth and gargle 3 times a day.
- From 6 to 12 years: Dilute the product in equal parts, rinsing the mouth and gargling 3 times a day.
Side Effects of Cepacol
No side effects were found.
Contraindications of Cepacol
Cepacol should not be used by children under 6 years of age.
