Muricalm is an antiallergic that has the active principle Pimetixeno.
This medication is for oral use and has sedative properties that help in the treatment of children with allergic disorders, but it can cause enough drowsiness, leaving the child apathetic.
Indications of Muricalm
Allergic bronchitis; allergic cough; conjunctivitis; itching.
Side effects of Muricalm
Somnolence; excitement; dry mouth; dizziness.
Contraindications of Muricalm
Children under 1 year of age.
How to use Muricalm
Children (from 1 year of age)
Oral solution drops
- Give 1 drop of Muricalm per kg of body weight 3 times a day.
Syrup
- 1 to 5 years: Administer 5 to 7.5 ml of Muricalm 3 times daily;
- 6 to 10 years: Administer 7.5 to 10 mL of Muricalm 3 times daily;
- Over 10 years : Administer 10 to 15 mL, 3 times daily.
