Fungirox

Fungirox is an antifungal medicine that has the active principle Ciclopirox.

This is a topical and vaginal medicine effective in the treatment of superficial mycoses and candidiasis.

The mechanism of action of Fungirox is to prevent the transport of essential substances into the fungi, causing the weakening and death of the parasites, and resulting in the decrease of the symptoms of the diseases.

Indications of Fungirox

Surface mycosis of the skin; candidiasis; athlete's foot; pityriasis versicolor; you had the hairy douro and the foot; ornicomycosis.

Side Effects of Fungirox

Blush; burning; pruritus; pain; local irritation; mild and transient swelling on the skin; itching; redness; desquamation.

Contraindications of Fungirox

Pregnancy risk B; women in the lactation phase; individuals with open wounds; hypersensitivity to the product.

How to use Fungirox

Topic Use

Adults and Children over 10 years

• Lotion : Apply Fungirox over the affected area by gently pressing. The procedure should be done twice a day (preferably morning and afternoon) until symptoms disappear. If there is no improvement in symptoms after 4 weeks, consult your doctor.
• Enamel : Apply Fungirox to the affected nail as follows: during the first month of treatment the drug is applied every other day (day in and day out), in the second month of treatment it is applied only twice a week, and month of treatment applies only once a week.

Vaginal Usage

Adults

• Introduce the medication into the vagina when lying down with the aid of the applicator that comes with the product. The procedure should be repeated for 7 to 10 days.
